포르투 코보는 단순한 매력으로 대서양 위에 펼쳐져 있습니다. 하얀 집, 조용한 거리, 강한 어부의 정신이 깃들어 있습니다. 이곳에서 삶은 바다의 리듬에 맞춰 흘러갑니다. 코스타 비센티나의 중심부에 위치한 이곳은 자전거를 타는 사람들에게 중요한 지점입니다. 극적인 절벽, 숨겨진 해변, 여유롭게 탐험을 즐길 수 있는 해안 트레일이 있습니다. 다이빙, 광장의 카페, 끝없이 펼쳐진 풍경 속에서 포르투 코보는 조금만 더 머물고 싶게 만드는 곳입니다.

Praia da Samoqueira는 알렌테주 해안에 있는 야생의 안식처로, 포르투 코보에서 몇 킬로미터 떨어져 있습니다. 깎아지른 듯한 절벽, 숨겨진 작은 만, 맑은 바닷물은 Rota Vicentina를 따라 장대한 휴식을 취하기에 완벽한 배경을 만들어 줍니다. 자전거로 쉽게 갈 수 있으며 바로 옆에 더 멋진 해변이 있습니다. 꼭 다이빙하러 가세요. 물이 꽤 차가우니 조심하세요.

Magic Cactus – perfect location on the hillside with a view of the surfers, a terrace with shaded/sunlit spots, and very friendly staff. A beautiful beach is directly accessible from the bar.

Rocks in the water, small caves in the cliffs that frame the beach, and pools that form at low tide add to the charm of Praia da Samoqueira. A partially paved parking lot is available for parking. Due to the lack of tourist infrastructure, you'll need to bring everything you need for a great stay by the sea.

Depending on time of day, can be lots of traffic. Yet, all were polite and gave us plenty of room while passing.

Praia Grande, as hinted by the name, is the biggest beach in Porto Covo. It’s among the 41 beaches in the Alentejo coast awarded with the Blue Flag in 2023. It has a large car park, toilets, and a small beach bar/restaurant. Being somewhat less sheltered than the other beaches, the sea can be quite choppy depending on the weather conditions, so it’s great for surfing and body-boarding. But we’ve been to Praia Grande on several occasions where the sea was very smooth.
