Beautiful viewpoint!

A place of passage, for other tours, a very beautiful hike along the river just at Mortágua (parque verde)

Viewpoint that offers a stunning panorama of Pateira de Fermentelos and the nature of the region. Leave the bike and access the platform to admire the view.

Porta das Ameias is one of the official entrances to Bussaco Park. It is possible to access both the forest, the hotel and the Cruz Alta viewpoint from here. MTB, gravel or wide tires in general are recommended for the following section.

Ribeira de Montágua begins in the village of the same name, Montágua, and flows into the Mondego River. Next to the bridge is a small river beach.

The Palácio do Buçaco, in Portugal, initially a Carmelite convent from 1628, was transformed into a luxurious hotel in Serra do Buçaco. Today a national monument, it was built between 1888 and 1907 and displays an architectural style inspired by the Portuguese Age of Discoveries.

Pateira de Fermentelos, located between the municipalities of Águeda, Aveiro and Oliveira do Bairro, is one of the largest natural lagoons on the Iberian Peninsula and part of the list of Ramsar sites. Surrounded by the parishes of Óis da Ribeira, Fermentelos, Espinhel and Requeixo, it stands out for its rich biodiversity, including a variety of birds, aquatic plants and various fish.

The mural highlights three significant elements of the parish: the evolution of the Feira da Palhaça, religion with an emphasis on the S. Pedro procession, and the legend of Fonte do Bebe e Vai-te.
