A lovely, gently winding path through varied scenery. Be careful of oncoming traffic on the bends – some people seem to think they can use the entire width of the path for themselves.

I have no idea what Komoot's AI has done again, but it's incredibly annoying when the titles of highlights are constantly automatically changed and then are completely wrong.

A beautiful, straight, winding gravel bike path along the Wasmeer lake. It's narrow, though, so it's less suitable for high speeds.

The beautiful cycle path along the Nuldernau runs from the Nijkerkersluis lock to the Eemhof holiday park. There, you can choose to cycle along the dike to Almere Haven, or take the ferry to Bunschoten-Spakenburg and return to the Nijkerkersluis via the dike and the steam pumping station.

The Dutch really have a wide and well-maintained cycling network.

Behind the castle you can take a nice walk in the Hoge Vuursche forest.
