🏖️ The beach at Wemeldinge On the Oosterschelde lies a small but charming beach. It's not a large North Sea beach, but rather cozy and peaceful. At 🌊 high tide, a large part of the beach disappears, while at 🌅 low tide, sandbanks and mudflats appear. Perfect for children who want to discover 🦀 crabs, 🐚 shells, and small 🐟 fish.

Mill Aeolus was built around 1869 and partly rebuilt after a fire in 1888. It is a round stone mill with six attics that were used as a grist and peel mill. The mill has three pairs of millstones for grinding grain and one hulling stone for hulling barley. The mill was occupied by a miller until about 1892. The flight of the blades is 24.20 meters. The height of the scaffolding is 8.90 meters. Triggered? The mill operates regularly on Saturdays and is free to visit. Be careful that you don't get hit with the mill here.
