The mighty wings of the historic domain castle are still impressive today. But not only that: The Aerzen Castle is located in a natural and green environment and is therefore an absolutely worthwhile excursion destination. The building is a moated castle, the first constructions of which were built in the 11th century. It is currently used for cultural events such as medieval markets and concerts, as a cafeteria for the surrounding schools and as a registry office.
