Continue up to the next bend, down the wide road, then in the right-hand bend, turn left through the forest. Difficult descent towards Arcegno, you have to walk part of the way but it's really beautiful. Almost impossible to find without a sat nav.

Great viewpoint. It can't be reached 100% from the Corona dei Pinci trail on the saddle, but there is now a flowing path back down to the official trail. It's often a bit windy up there😋.

Pizzo Leone (1659 m) is considered the guardian of the "Ghridone". Good destination in all seasons but late spring and autumn are ideal. Magnificent view of Lake Maggiore, the Pre-Alps and the Alps.
