Nendrum Monastery was a Christian monastery founded in the 5th century. The monastery finished somewhere between 974 and 1178, but the church survived until the 15th century. You can visit the ruins if you're riding past.

Quoile Bridge is a six arch stone bridge that runs over the River Quoile. The bridge was built around 1680 and may be one of the oldest bridges in County Down!

Ballyhornan is sandy beach surrounded by cliffs. Guns Island lies just in the bay. On the horizon it is possible to see the Isle of Man.
