The Ship is a fantastic little pub hidden next to St Peter's Church in the small village of Levington overlooking the Orwell River. The pub serves up a fantastic array of delicious dishes and real ales in a cosy setting.

Low and high tide Holbrook Creek have a very different feel, but both are equally beautiful. At low tide you can explore the rock pools and look for interesting pebbles and shells on the shore. You will rarely find many other people hiking here, despite its charm. A real Suffolk secret.

Great place for a coffee stop or even breakfast. Before catching the ferry across the estuary

Leave or lift bike over kissing gate and then follow the path down for a lovely view!

Nice traffic free route from Manningtree to Sutton. Some bits are concrete but some bumpy dirt/grass in bits. Joins up to some other byways by the river.
