Nice wide promenade path gives great sea views. Shared use and often busy with pedestrians which does limit your speed. Avoids all the speed bumps on the Cliff Road though!

I've seen longer, but it's enough for most.

Landguard Fort is the site of the last opposed seaborne invasion of England in 1667 and the first land battle of the Royal Marines.

The Deben estuary near Felixstowe is an idyllic place for a leisurely stroll. Follow a flat, stone path along the shore, enjoying sights of bobbing boats and fishers after their daily catch.

Beautiful beach in summer I personally love the fish and chips shop and the view. Nice place for some rest.

Felixstowe's seafront gardens are home to the Wicker family, a group of people sculpted out of willow. The family have actually been replaced, after the original family were deemed not to be able to survive another season in this blustery seafront town.

Landguard Fort dates back to the 16th century but has never really fallen out of use, despite its many renovations. Its interior is largely Victorian, but it has a more modern exterior, and was in constant occupation throughout both World Wars. There's a fascinating museum inside.

Felixstowe has miles of beach and strolling along its promenade is one of the best ways to take it all in. There are colourful beach huts running alongside it, always ready to pose for a photo. In clear weather, you can see for miles from here, including out to sea to spot the offshore wind turbines.
