The wave-shaped metal sculpture seems to blend gently into the landscape on the shores of Lough Neagh, as if it were merging with the water itself. The Castle has over 100 acres of ornamental lawns, peaceful woodlands and picturesque glens to discover. Dogs are not permitted within the gardens and café unless they are trained assistance dogs.

If you wish to take the detour, a short causeway will lead you to The Starting Battery, used by the Lough Neagh Sailing Club as the starting mark for their boat races.
