Donated in 1953 by Michael Vornlocker. Michael Vornlocker from Burgebrach was stationed in Egypt during World War II. During an air raid, he was trapped and buried alive. After a fortunate rescue and release from captivity, he vowed that he would erect a cross if he returned home safe and sound. He returned safely and did not forget his vow.

The town hall is located in the gatehouse "Upper Gate" dating from 1720.

There's currently no water coming out of the pump at the well.☹️ But there is also a water well in Oberhansbach.

The Nikolai Bridge, with its original stone figures, is unique. The figures are not copies; they are genuine.

A horror story is the background of the chapel... Short version: a farmer's wife gave birth to septuplets - six of which she gave to her maid to drown. The farmer found out about this and, without the farmer's wife's knowledge, gave the six children up for adoption in the surrounding villages. For her first communion a few years later, the farmer invited the other children to the celebration and asked them at the banquet what one should do with a woman who wanted to kill her own children. The woman said such a mother should be burned... thus passing her own sentence and was executed in the same way. The St. Anne Chapel was built on this spot.
