This beautiful view of the harbor entrance can be enjoyed directly from the Würzburg-Bamberg cycle path.

Long ago, two poor boys from Bischberg went begging out of necessity. In the evening, they wanted to divide the money they had earned fairly. Over a single penny left over, they argued so fiercely that they beat each other and both died. As a memorial and warning of this event, a wayside shrine was erected on this spot, which was replaced around 1900 by the current one.

This street art gallery can be found under the Europa Bridge, which runs over the Regnitz River in the north of Bamberg, not far from the skate park.

The Europa Bridge is a concrete girder bridge over the Main-Danube Canal. It crosses the canal at kilometer 4.2. It is a non-haunched prestressed concrete box girder bridge consisting of three spans with a total span of more than 120 meters.[3] The two supporting piers are located in the foreland. The canal opening has a span of approximately 70 meters and a clearance width of 40 meters with a clearance height of 6.30 meters. A skate park is located next to and below the eastern end of the bridge. From the bridge, there are good views in both directions across the canal.
