It is part of this to deal with the history of this complex (after the monastery was closed it was a former psychiatric "sanatorium", especially during the Nazi era). Information boards point this out and make this complex a place of silent remembrance of crimes that will hopefully never happen again.

This idyllic bathing lake is rarely overpopulated, even in midsummer. The name may sound familiar to some: In August 2013 they were looking for a snapping turtle named Lotti. In the summer slump of the news world it was reported all over Germany. But no fear! Since then nothing has happened again and the existence of this "monster tortoise" has never been confirmed either.
