The Roman Road in Cambridgeshire, also known as Worsted Street Roman Road, is a 12.4-hectare (31-acre) linear biological Site of Special Scientific Interest stretching from south-east of Cambridge to north of Linton.

This place looked nice. I didn't go in as used the nearby Linton Kitchen but that's excellent buy quite small so this is worth knowing about.

It's actually Rivey Hill not River Hill :-)

At 367 feet (112 m) above sea level, Rivey Hill is one of the highest points in Cambridgeshire and affords great views. What makes the hill particularly distinctive, though, is Rivey Hill Water Tower, which can be seen for miles around. Constructed between 1934-36, the striking Art Deco tower is 98 feet (30 m) high.

Good views from here and a nice place to rest after the climb up.

In a serene spot on the outskirts of Balsham, the Church of Holy Trinity is a picturesque place of worship that dates to the 13th century. Boasting medieval stained glass in the north aisle, a 13th-century font, and fine examples of 15th-century choir stalls, the Grade I-listed church is well worth a visit.

Prep for granny gear and find your rhythm, it's a good climb

A scenic small Cambridgeshire village with a few thatched cottages. The River Granta runs through the middle and you can often finds lambs in the surrounding fields in the spring.
