South Molton is a market town centred round a market square. It was a major part of the UK's wool trade and markets still thrive twice a week, although no longer just the domain of wool. There are plenty of cafes in South Molton for mid-ride nourishment

A historic market town to the south of Exmoor National Park, South Molton is brimming with interesting buildings, history and places to explore. From the pannier market and heritage museum to it's stunning Georgian buildings and gorgeous churches, it makes for a lovely base for local adventures. To the north of the town is a honey farm which is open to visitors and has the world's largest honey bee exhibition. You can also find nature trails and a play area, making it a lovely da out for the family.
