A beautiful 2.5km long path leads completely around the motorway lake. Numerous benches and sunbathing lawns invite you to linger. A children's playground, barbecue areas, toilets and a beer garden are also on site. Swimming in the lake is possible in summer.

The Catholic parish church of the Nativity of Mary stands, surrounded by the churchyard, on a slightly elevated position in the center of Gebenhofen. The church was probably founded in the 8th century. Patronage rights lay with the St. Andrea Abbey in Freising from 1228 to 1803. The Gothic gabled tower with crenellated gables dates from the 15th century, and the choir from the 16th century. The dilapidated nave was demolished and rebuilt in 1765 (consecrated in 1785). A large 18th-century crucifix stands on the east side. The interior is Baroque with Rococo stucco. The frescoes are by Fr. J. Maucher and depict the Nativity of Mary in the choir, and the nave depicts the veneration of the Mother of God by the four continents known at the time. Source: Wikipedia

The parish church of St. Peter and Paul in Affing, Bavaria, was built in 1688/89 and is dedicated to the apostles Peter and Paul. The baroque church is characterized by a four-axis nave with pilasters and a barrel vault with pointed arches. The high altar, attributed to Johann Georg Knappich, depicts the Seven Refuges and is flanked by half-figures of the apostles. The church is a protected architectural monument and part of the Affing parish community. Services are held regularly.

The castle was built at the end of the 17th century on the same site where several previous buildings had stood. It is privately owned and not open to the public.

Affing Castle is located on an artificial hill as a high castle. Most of the moat has long been drained. A bridge leads to the castle. The cast iron railing was donated by Napoleon III's stepdaughter, Queen Hortense of Holland, who often visited here with her stepfather.
