The ceiling painting, depicting the Finding of the Cross by St. Helena, was created by the Pasing artist Hans Kögl at the beginning of the 20th century. The stucco in the style of Bandlwerkstuck dates from 1923/24.

The Ecknach is a picturesque river in the district of Aichach-Friedberg, Bavaria, which flows through the idyllic Ecknachtal valley. The church was originally Romanesque, but today it features Gothic and neo-Gothic elements. It is worth taking a look inside to see the impressive ceiling fresco.
