From the old town center of Rückersdorf you can see the old castle, in which the local museum is housed and in whose courtyard the wine festival takes place every summer. The other highlight of the old town center is the restored Schmidt farm, where the church consecration takes place and which can be rented for private parties. The Schmidtbauernhof or its courtyard is also the venue for the oven festival every year.

The "Berggasthof Moritzberg" on the summit of Moritzberg is a quaint restaurant right next to the 600 year old Mauritius chapel and the Hindenburg tower, offering all kinds of Franconian delicacies, coffee and cake. The prices are fair, the portions are tidy and the service is brisk and nice. In summer you can enjoy your "Radlerhalbe" in the beautiful beer garden.
