A small bridge leads over the Tiefenbach

In the 18th century, Wildbad was one of the most important spa towns in Europe. It served as a health and recreation resort for the Margraves of Ansbach. The healing waters were already known in the time of Charlemagne, around 800 AD. Seven springs, stretching approximately 100 meters, gush forth here, and their waters were used to cure a wide variety of ailments.

Here in the Burgbernheim Wildbad, seven springs rise over a length of approximately 100 meters. Their waters were used to cure various ailments. The water from the Eye Fountain, as the name suggests, was used to treat eye diseases and poor eyesight.

The Devil's House in the forest above Burgbernheim is a viewing platform built around a tree. From here you have a wonderful view. The name comes from an old legend that says that the devil is said to have been here. Unfortunately, the platform is currently closed and is to be renovated.
