Very photogenic place can be busy

Built between 1607 and 1612, Chastleton House tells an enchanting story. Originally owned by rich wool merchant Walter Jones, the house became the scene of a drug dupe during the Civil War in a bid to save the owners life. Today, the property is owned by National Trust. A must-stop for all 'Clarkson's Farm' fans. Small farm shop, just like seen on TV. Very busy with tourists, expect to get in line to enter the store. Watch out for the (many) cars, drivers are not always paying attention to cyclists when entering and exiting the car park. Watch out.

Famous for its honey-coloured traditional Cotswold stone buildings, Bourton-on-the-Water is often referred to as the 'Venice of the Cotswolds'. The River Windrush runs through the middle of the town with five stone bridges crossing it. The bridges were built between 1654 and 1911.
