움직이는 물의 힘을 이용하여 물레방아를 돌리는 것은 인간 탐구 정신의 오랜 발명품이며, 그 기원은 오래전 과거로 거슬러 올라갑니다. 이러한 구조 덕분에 자연적이거나 인공적으로 만들어진 물길을 통해 인간이나 동물의 근력을 자연의 힘으로 간단히 대체하여 곡물을 갈거나 과일에서 기름을 짜는 데 사용할 수 있었습니다. 물레방아는 구동 방식에 따라 크게 두 가지로 나눌 수 있습니다. * 흐르는 물이 아래에서 물레방아 날개에 부딪혀 움직이게 하거나, * 일반적으로 "방앗간 수로"라고 하는 물길이 바퀴 위로 흐르고 날개 위로 떨어지는데, 이러한 구조에서는 자연적인 중력으로 인해 효율성이 더 높습니다.

In the search for a worthy patron saint for this church, the Archangel Michael was initially chosen, whose name (derived from Hebrew) means "Who is like God?". However, it was then apparently decided that it wouldn't hurt to significantly increase the number of intercessors before God's throne for this church and its parishioners. Thus, the idea arose not to choose just a single patron saint, but to extend the patronage to the entire heavenly host (i.e., "All Angels").

Was named the Times Village Pub of the Year. Four cask on and North Cotswold Shagweaver in excellent condition. You would hope so for £5.45 a pint.

In the middle of a small green area within the village, a cross rises atop a tall stone shaft. However, as hikers notice upon approach, this is by no means a small sacred monument in the sense of the wayside crosses common in some regions. Rather, this monument, like those found in many villages, is dedicated to the memory of the victims of war and tyranny.
