The bird protection center in Mössingen is a special address in nature conservation. Three areas are united under one roof: - scientific and advisory work, - the care center for native birds, - the public area for visitors. (Source: NABU bird protection center) The NABU bird protection center is unique in Baden-Württemberg. Every year we take in over 1,000 injured or sick birds of native and partly endangered species. We are able to release more than a third of them healthy into the wild after a few days' stay. By the way: We also take in injured bats.
