Worth seeing, a former pond that became a moor.

A wonderfully beautiful and quiet large pond where you can swim a few laps.

A pretty lake with several swimming opportunities. It is part of the Kißlegg Lake District, a group of ponds connected by moorland.

The church stands on the site of earlier churches on a small hill in the center of the village and is enclosed by the medieval wall of the former churchyard. Almost leaning against the old masonry, two-story, hipped-roofed buildings from the 18th century flank the church: to the north, the chaplain's house, now the nuns' house, and to the south, the town hall. The church wall features two Baroque, richly ornamented portals with blind pillars and picture niches, triangular gables, and gable roofs. The main portal is located in the extension of the church's east-west axis. According to construction records, it was "renovated and expanded" from 1693 to 1697 and consecrated on August 29, 1697, by Konrad Ferdinand von Wildegg, Auxiliary Bishop of Constance. The cost amounted to 8,420 guilders, 20 kreuzers, and 3 hellers; 1,548 guilders of this amount were "contributed" by the then pastor Mietinger himself. However, both the long construction period and the relatively high construction costs suggest that the church was a new building; only the tower base is likely to remain of the previous Gothic church.

The Wolfegger Süh is also a 725m high viewing point with a cross and seating area that is easily accessible by bike. From here you can see large parts of Upper Swabia. There is also a boulder on the Süh from the Ice Age that was "left behind" by a glacier.

First mentioned in 1818, the pond was about four times as large until it was partially drained in the mid-19th century; the resulting terrain is still visible. Today, the Holzmühleweiher is a popular fishing spot. A small lido is located on its northwestern shore. Since 1995, the pond has been part of the designated Young Moraine Landscape Conservation Area between Amtzell and Vogt. Due to its poor water quality, the Holzmühleweiher was included in the Tübingen Regional Council's "Action Program for the Rehabilitation of Upper Swabian Lakes." Source: Wikipedia
