One of the most traditional inns in the Remstal valley, largely renovated inside. The famous war council of generals Prince Eugene of Savoy, Duke of Marlborough, and Margrave Ludwig of Baden met here in 1704 during the War of the Spanish Succession.

Probably the oldest of the larger bridges in the Rems-Murr district. During the Thirty Years' War (1643), it was the site of a skirmish between Bavarian and French-Swedish troops. It was filled in in 1975 and partially uncovered again in 2018 for the 2019 Remstal Garden Show.

The cycle path between Vogelmühle and Remseck-Neckarrems is permanently closed. The path along the forest (Wehhalde) in Hegnach is also currently closed.

Right next to the Korb shooting range is the barbecue and playground area at Hörnleskopf. It offers several play structures and a barbecue grill. It gets quite busy on weekends. The Hanweiler Saddle is a popular starting point for numerous hikes in our region. https://youtu.be/uENS3q4GiOY
