Lake Robern is an idyllic, artificial lake in the upper Seebach valley near Robern, a district of the municipality of Fahrenbach in the Neckar-Odenwald district. It was dammed in 1966 and is located in a nature reserve known for its diverse flora and fauna. The lake is approximately 150 meters long and 100 meters wide, providing a beautiful setting for hiking and relaxation.

Take a circular hike around Lake Robern – the trail is flat, about 3km long, and offers beautiful scenery and plenty of birdwatching opportunities. It's ideal for a relaxing break or a family outing.

The former railway line winds gently through various communities in the Neckar-Odenwald district, climbing gently, and ends in Mudau. The surface is mostly good for cycling, but less suitable for racing bikes.

Fish farming in the Mariental with the water of the Trienz

The Kneipp facility offers the opportunity to experience the soothing effects of cold water while enjoying the idyllic surroundings of the Trienzbach Valley. In addition to the Kneipp facility, there is also a barefoot path, providing an additional nature experience.

The Marienthal trout farm is a traditional farm established in 1899 and specializes in the breeding of brown, rainbow, and salmon trout. In addition to fresh trout, the farm also offers smoked fish products, which are available upon reservation. Seasonal carp and tench are also available, as well as homemade jams and jellies. The trout farm places great emphasis on quality and freshness, and its products can be purchased directly on site. The farm is a popular destination for gourmets and nature lovers who want to enjoy regional specialties.
