Who would have guessed such a beautiful spot would be hidden behind this water protection wall? Certainly not me! A bench and trash can, and a beautiful view of the Klingnau Reservoir. It's very popular with young people, but rarely free in nice weather.

A small oasis of peace behind the flood protection wall. It's easy to overlook, but once you discover it, you'll always come back. Beautiful view of the Klingnau reservoir.

A short, safe connection between two villages. The cycle path runs parallel to the highway. The entry point in Niederweningen (after the roundabout, towards Ehrendingen) is somewhat hidden if you're not familiar with the route.

I recently cycled down from Siggenberg via Loohof. And had to cross the busy and dangerous road and then briefly cycle towards Endingen. After about 50-100 meters you can turn off and cross this little bridge to get to the asphalted cycle path.

Intact former industrial area with mill in Endingen. The Endingen mill in the historic mill district has been idle since 1979. The mill was built around 1880 in the Biedermeier style. The former commercial and customer mill, which was built lengthways along the mill canal, was built as a replacement by the Rekingen miller Andreas Frey. He had previously married the miller's widow Ana Hirt.

When the plague again appeared on the borders of the parish in the mid-1660s, the people of Gippingen took this as an opportunity to build their own chapel. The pious act was intended to avert the danger - this is how they argued to the commander and the bishop. In 1673, the church, which had been built through forced labor and at the expense of the church members, was blessed and dedicated to Saint David.

On the 19 kilometers of the Surb, the stream, there are so many different bridges and footbridges that I personally find this variety inspiring. From old to new, renovated or not. Always an interesting comparison.
