Great Incline to the top

Great cycling themed cafe with a large terrace and plenty of bike space. Well worth a stop off on a Chilterns ride.

A decent coffee and cake stop. Bike workshop too for those who are local!

Beautiful forrest vibe lane. Makes you feel close to nature. Watch out for the potholes, especially if you don't have a photochromic lenses as it gets darks with tall trees around.

Café is still around in 2024. :) It's got a nice terrace at the back (incl. bike racks).

The foundation for the original building was laid in 1280, where it was a Gatehouse for the northern approach to Ashridge and was used by Henry VIII as part of the hunting grounds. But following heavy damage by Cromwells armies, the lodge was rebuilt by the eminent architect Sir Jeffrey Wyattville in 1823. Little Gaddesden Lodge now functions extremely well as a private home.

The road is set back from the best views, as the road levels out look for gaps that provide access to the best views of the Downs and Vale

A nice fast descent on good road in normal conditions but watch for gravel washed onto the road in heavy rain

Bike friendly Café with cycle workshop in the basement. Coffee is excellent and a great selection of cakes along with good quality bacon sandwiches

Mini Castle, how could you not like it.

Great route to add to an epic ride!

Lovely climb with spectacular views as you reach the top. Not too steep or long, which makes it suitable for anyone to have a go at!

be careful of the speed humps and poor road surface

A tiny village with a surprinsigly lot to see. Also a great place for an after ride pint.

Another Chiltern classic, not one of the hardest but definitely one of the best.

The roof's on. Hopefully it will be open in time for summer 2021!
