A nice opportunity for a stopover at 1,883 meters, about an hour from the Rellseck mountain inn. The path is partly muddy even in summer, as it leads through a marshy depression.

It's right on the side of the hiking trail. It has a bench. However, since there's always a lot of traffic here, enjoy the view while standing.

The wonderful hostess Monika serves homemade cakes, and all of them (we tried four different ones) are heavenly delicious. The backdrop of the Three Towers is very, very impressive.

We were here again in June 2025, this time the alpine pasture was open. It was a great opportunity to take a break and learn about the operation of an alpine pasture. A very nice lady answered all our questions. The drinks and food were excellent. We also bought homemade mountain pine honey and fir tip honey. Highly recommended!

The ascent/descent is quite challenging, and the warning before starting the climb should not be taken lightly. A head for heights and surefootedness are required. The panorama at the summit cross is fantastic, however.

On the popular Gauertal AlpkulTour hiking trail, eleven wooden sculptures lead through the Montafon cultural landscape. Here, Station 2: Alp Myhten "The Myhten Tree" – the plate-shaped roots of the spruce tree reach into the sky – connecting this world with the "otherworld."
