Very nice beach

The village has had its Church of Saint Thomas since 1269, built by Andrea Malaspina. Amidst its arcades and numerous so-called "venelles," it houses a 16th-century image of the Virgin and Child, a 17th-century holy water font, and a marble statue of Saint Anthony the Baptist, discovered near Lozari. The latter, coveted by several communities, was therefore transported by oxen on a cart across the region and given to the village where the animals first stopped.

Cute little mountain village, great views, always worth a visit.

Despite the road's excellent construction, there's really little traffic. This isn't surprising, given that the tourist flow is concentrated on the coast, and this road only connects small mountain villages.

It's likely that far more people are buried here than Conca has living inhabitants. A gigantic necropolis.

The reservoir was created to provide drinking water, so swimming is prohibited, even though the lake looks inviting. However, this ban doesn't stop the cows from cooling off with their feet 😁 The lakeshore is a great place to linger, and you've certainly earned a break after completing the climb from Porto Vecchio.

There's actually not much going on early in the morning or in the evening, and traffic increases significantly during peak bathing times. In any case, it's definitely worth cycling around the Palombaggia Peninsula.
