A flat, approximately two-kilometer-long circular route runs directly along the water and is perfect for leisurely rides or family outings. For more ambitious cyclists, a variety of mountain bike trails start nearby at Pfenningberg. With seating areas, restaurants, playgrounds, and well-maintained lawns for sunbathing, Lake Plesching is also an ideal spot for a relaxing break during a bike tour.

The facility extends over 252 meters and consists of nine Kaplan bulb turbines with a total output of 168 MW. Even if you are just driving past, it is a beautifully situated bathing pond.

Nice section if you want to cycle from Abwinden towards Mauthausen (or vice versa). Unfortunately you then have to take the B1 towards Ennsdorf to get back onto a nice cycle path to the Mauthausen Bridge
