Surefootedness is absolutely essential. There's a lot of loose scree. Beware of falling rocks! The view, however, is magnificent.

Once you reach the grotto, you'll have a magnificent view. You'll need a head for heights and surefootedness. A thrill guaranteed.

Steep climb - great views

Beautiful summit scramble with difficulty A/B. For experienced mountaineers, it can also be done without a via ferrata set (without D variant), but gloves would be good

If you're not afraid of heights and feel sure-footed, as recommended on the sign, this is a real recommendation! Sometimes with small scrambles and always with beautiful views. It takes about 1 hour longer than the Karwendel high trail in the valley below, but it's worth it.

The summit can be reached by easy climbing (mostly secured with ropes) from the Freiung Höhenweg. The view of the Karwendel Mountains is fantastic.

What a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains! A worthy reward, as the climb takes you through varied landscapes and requires surefootedness and fitness.
