From the Knorrhütte to the valley station of the glacier cable car there is only scree spread over about 500m of elevation, with small snowy sections towards the end (summer) - all doable if you watch your step!

This is where it gets really demanding - but if you master this part (and I am firmly convinced of that!), then you will be able to leave the rest of the tour behind you. The Neue Alplhütte rises on the Mieminger Plateau above the Inn Valley at a height of 1,504 meters. Behind it, the mighty rock faces of the Mieminger chain rise up. The climb to the hut can also be mastered with children. Opening times in summer: mid-July to mid-November. You can find more information at http://www.alplhuette.com/.
