Between Versciaco and San Candido there is a splendid walk both in summer and in winter that crosses the fields and runs along the river. Much less busy than the cycle path. More intimate. Ideal for running even in winter

Instead of taking the famous cycle path from Versciaco, you can go to San Candido for a beautiful pedestrian walk, which is also a cycle path in the middle of the meadows (in the winter snow) that runs along the river. Here a photo of me from the drone.

Running from Versaciaco towards San Candido on the snow-covered cycle path at sunset is pure magic. With the snow hardened by the cold and the right shoes and the essential running crampons, running is safe as well as pleasant and training!

Well equipped even in winter you can take a regenerating jog from San Candido to Versciaco following the tracks of the second fund. In the evening at sunset in the light of the front, everything is even more magical
