The via ferrata isn't particularly challenging, and some of the equipment is unusable. Part of the old route appears to have been destroyed by a landslide.

A beautiful, not-too-long climb. Surefootedness, a head for heights, and good shoes are recommended. Plenty of safety equipment and well-marked trails. Simply a beautiful mountaineering trail.

I would do the tour in the order Handschuhspitze, Wannig, Nassereither Alm. The descent from the Wannig towards Nassereither Alm is long, steep and slippery, but there is hardly any danger of falling. Between the Handschuhspitze and the Wannig it is all terrain with climbing at grade level and you don't really need to go down there if you are already tired from the climb up the Wannig. The view from both peaks is magnificent if the weather is as good as I had.

High alpine peak (2,493 meters) with incredibly beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. After the strenuous climb, you can take a short break here and sign your name in the summit book.

Only accessible on foot, cycling not permitted.
