The Wallersee is a lake in the Austrian federal state of Salzburg. It is located northeast of the city of Salzburg in the Salzburg-Umgebung district and is part of the Salzburg lake district. With its more than six square kilometers of water surface, the Wallersee is the largest lake in the Salzburg Alpine foothills.

The Wallersee is beautifully embedded in the gentle hilly landscape. You can get a nice view of it from here!

Small cherry branch in Henndorf. It's worth not just looking inside - the view that opens up all around is simply fantastic!

Family-friendly pool with trees, a lovely paddling pool for the little ones, good access to the lake and platforms for children learning to swim. There is an island for climbing, sliding and frolicking in the lake. You can also rent boards. The catering could be better, at least there is something to eat and drink.

The small branch church of St. Brigida stands on the easternmost edge of the hamlet of Ölling, a district of Henndorf. From the white plastered church you can enjoy a wonderful view of the surrounding landscape - but a look inside the church is also extremely worthwhile.
