Very nice and quiet location. Beautiful view. The food tasted very good, the portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. Kaiserschmarrn was great! Open from Thursday to Sunday from October to May. From May onwards from Wednesday to Sunday.

This great hut is part of the “Discover and understand Irsseemoor” project. Play stations, information boards and, particularly nice for cyclists, a shelter with seating are part of the project. Bring your binoculars and you can observe the bird and animal world from here.

The short, crisp ascent, secured by wire rope, is rewarded with scenic highlights and delightful views of the mountains and lakes

Certainly one of the most beautiful places around the Mattsee. Ideal for a rest and for swimming! It is your own fault who drives by.

Wonderful summit with a wonderful 360 ° panorama: Fuschlsee, Mondess, Attersee, Wallersee, Irrsee, Wolfgangsee, Mattsee and Obertrummer See are at our feet. Schafberg, Drachenwand and some mountains of the Osterhorn group also show up. A must see when in the area. However, it is also very well attended. Rather really worthwhile outside of the "rush hour".

Schober and Frauenkopf, both to be climbed directly in connection. There is a nice break hut to stop at at Schober. From there it is easy to climb the Frauenkopf. The descent from Frauenkopf is also more pleasant.
