Chesteron Windmill was built in 1632 and is one of the oldest surviving windmills in England. It was originally used for grinding corn and has a rich history ties to the agricultural practices of the region.

Spanish cafe with nice quiet garden. Didn't try the food but made a lovely coffee stop!

This Place is cool, quite and peacefull, people can take fresh rich air and enjoy beautifull landscape view from this place.

The layby can get busy, there is a bin, but often overflows. So please be prepared to take your rubbish home.

Gorgeous and popular spot. Arrive early to get a parking space in the lay by.

It is a footpath up to the Windmill, so please don't ride if others are around. Wind really blows through the structure itself.

A fantastically unique windmill in a stunning setting. Set, prominently, in a field of barley, which is well worth visiting in a good day 👌

You have to cycle along the grass to get to the windmill, this can be muddy in less kind weather. There is a bin for litter, but it often overflows. Popular spot in nice weather, quieter at sunrise and sunset.

Gorgeous decent out of Burton Dassett, watch out for stray sheep and walkers.

Watch out for the cattle grids, worth the grind to the top, spectacular views

Great little cafe. Lovely staff. Food is great and lots of room to put the bikes whilst partaking in the food.

Great spot for a mid ride break. Good food and drink and sometimes cricket too 😁

Excellent cooked breakfasts and service. There is a place to dry wet cycling attire near the fire i the cafe is not too busy. Takes cash card and mobile pay devices with no problems.

Cyclists friendly cafe that serves amazing breakfasts. Very quick service and plenty of seating inside and out. There is also a log burner for those colder days when you needs to warm up mid ride.
