케임브리지에서 벗어나 제대로 나아갈 수 있는 멋진 자전거 도로 구간입니다. Whittlesford의 교회 묘지를 통과하는 아주 짧은 자갈 구간을 제외하고는 모두 포장되어 있습니다. 폭이 그다지 넓지 않으므로 다른 이용자들을 유의하십시오. 월요일 오전 중반에 라이딩했는데 대부분 비어 있었고, 바쁜 시간에는 어떨지 모르겠습니다.

Radio interferometry started in the mid-1940s on the outskirts of Cambridge, but with funding from the Science Research Council and a corporate donation of £100,000 from Mullard Limited, a leading commercial manufacturer of thermionic valves. Construction of the Mullard Radio Astronomy Observatory commenced at Lords Bridge Air Ammunition Park,[1] a few kilometres to the west of Cambridge. The observatory was founded under Martin Ryle of the Radio-Astronomy Group of the Cavendish Laboratory, University of Cambridge and was opened by Sir Edward Victor Appleton on 25 July 1957.
