The Pollereshütte, at 1,481 meters, is a rustic place to stop for a bite to eat on the southern slope of the Sonnwendstein and a popular destination for hikers. From the sun terrace, you can enjoy magnificent views of the Rax, Schneeberg, and the Bucklige Welt. Here, you can relax with a hearty snack before continuing on to the summit or returning to the valley.

The Schoberhütte, at 1,461 meters, is an idyllically situated alpine hut on the trail between Erzkogel and Sonnwendstein. It offers hikers a cozy place to rest with simple seating and a beautiful view of the surrounding mountain landscape. It is particularly famous for its witty "weather station," which predicts the current weather using a stone and always brings a smile.

The summit cross on the Erzkogel marks the panoramic high point of this tranquil mountain in the Semmering region. From up here, the view extends far over the surrounding forests to the striking peaks of the Rax and Schneeberg.
