A beautiful view towards Neulengbach Castle.

Neulengbach Castle was a hilltop castle on a free-standing, approximately 80 m high mountain cone above the Lower Austrian town of Neulengbach in the Sankt Pölten-Land district, which was converted into a palace in the 16th and 17th centuries. The palace complex is a three-story polygonal building with a double defensive ring and eight round towers, a porch with a magnificent Renaissance portal and a courtyard with Tuscan double columns and a stone fountain basin.

Please note: At km 15, drive at walking pace!!!!!! The Tannenhofstrasse is a private road and leads through a private estate with riding stables. Small children, dogs and many horses live here that run and live on the farm. I experienced it myself - otherwise it can be very dangerous if you speed through it like it's on a motorway. Consideration should be shown here, not just for your own safety, but for the benefit of everyone.

This is a beautiful piece of countryside to explore by bike!
