An inconspicuous forepeak on the way to Hohenstein.

After the long climb you will find very friendly hut owners and excellent food and the whole thing is "garnished" with a dream view.

Right next to the Otto Kandler Haus is probably one of the most beautiful peaks in the Traisental Mountains, and on nice days you have a gigantic view from here!

As soon as we cycled past, the skywalk in front of the church caught our eye. So we climbed the Kirchenberg to visit the lovingly designed area around the Gothic church. A beautiful place and the view from the skywalk is amazing! The hut is open on weekends during the summer season - early May to late October. Very good hospitality, even if you arrive towards the end of the opening hours! Outside the operating hours there is a room for the night, drinks are provided.

A wonderful summit, from which one overlooks a large part of the Lower Austrian Alpine foothills.

Summer: on weekends and public holidays until around 3:30 p.m. Winter: Closed during the winter season - open winter room.
