The Camillo-Kronich-Steig, also known as the Brandschneide (Brand Edge), is a classic climb up the Rax. It requires surefootedness and good fitness, but offers magnificent views and impressive vistas down into the valley. A varied alpine climb, it's one of the most beautiful routes up the Rax.
