Ok the reel deal here it’s ! You only can buy ticket the same day in person . There’s a little box with people who sell the ticket for the car , you go there with your bike ! And for the off season people like myself ! You can take your buy any time of the year. It’s 12€ as today November 2025. So: no need to do the climb the day before to be sure to have a ticket like myself 😅

The Ankogel cable cars transport hikers from the valley station (at 1,287 m) to lofty heights in two stages. The first stage leads to the mid-station. It is the ideal starting point for many shorter and longer mountain hikes. The second stage of the Ankogel cable cars continues to the mountain station on the Elschesattel (2,650 m). A magnificent panoramic view of the surrounding mountains awaits at the top. The Hannoverhaus, near the mountain station, is a great place for a refreshment stop.

The bike path from Mallnitz to Möllbrücke is well signposted! Some sections require chunkier tires! 🚵‍♂️

Very irregular opening hours. Almost completely closed in July. Parking in front of the building is not permitted.

The Alpine Inn is open year-round. In summer, you can even sit on the large sun terrace. Here, you'll enjoy delicious food in a wonderful atmosphere. It's definitely worth a stop!
