Every Saturday at 9:00 a.m. is the meeting point for the Park Run. A movement that meets all over England, and now also in Germany, at the same time to run 5 km together. This is a great spot for it.

Between Newhaven and Seaford is the Ouse Estuary Nature Reserve which is home to a wide variety of birds, insects, plants and amphibians including the internationally protected Great Crested Newt. Cutting across the nature reserve is an excellent tarmac traffic-free cycle path which is part of National Cycle Network route 2. The scenic trail is an excellent alternative to the busy A259, which runs alongside it.

The Martello Tower stands at the east end of Seaford Beach and was built in the 19th century to defend against France. Today it houses the Seaford Museum.

Cozy stretch of beach (Pebbles) in Seaford/Bishopstone. There is a campsite right on the beach, ice cream stands, a sailing club with a public bar and a train station nearby. On the "Promenade" you can walk to Seaford and Seaford Head/Splash Point (approx. 3km), where the chalk cliffs begin.
