This is an excellent traffic-free cycle path that runs along the River Great Ouse into Kings Lynn. This section traces a wide part of the Great Ouse, close to its mouth at The Wash where it drains into the North Sea. It's the longest of several British rivers called "Ouse", flowing through Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk to its source in Syresham in Northamptonshire.

March is located on the banks of the navigable old course of the River Nene, which is populated by narrow boats and pleasure craft.

All Saints Church in Elm stands as a remarkable architectural masterpiece with roots tracing back to the 13th century. Upwell has a rich history dating back many centuries. It was once a centre for agriculture and trade in the Fenland region due to its proximity to waterways, including the River Nene and the Old Croft River. One notable historical feature in Walpole St. Andrew is its church, St. Andrew's Church, which is a Grade I listed building. This church, like many old churches in Norfolk, displays impressive medieval architecture and is a prominent landmark in the village.

Very nice cafe/deli open 7 days a week but be aware that the cafe closes earlier than the farm shop - 3.30pm each day.
