It's a landmark of Doha and can be seen from afar. It's shaped like a spiral lighthouse. It's an active place of worship. Visitors are supposed to be able to enjoy traditional coffee here and learn about the Qatari way of life, the country's heritage, and its culture. We didn't try that, though. The magnificent view was enough for us. The square in front of the mosque separates two souk districts, both of which are worth visiting.

The Corniche is a roughly 5km long strip of land running directly along the water. What's missing is some shade. Otherwise, it's wonderful here.

Not far from the cruise terminal, practically directly opposite, lies this colorful collection of authentic-looking buildings. It's usually bustling here, with tourists mingling with locals, creating a vibrant atmosphere. There are numerous shops and restaurants. Of course, there's some touristy stuff, but a stroll through the alleys is well worth it.

Mina District Corniche is another park located at Doha's old harbor. From here, you can once again enjoy stunning views of the Doha skyline.

Le Pouce was unveiled in 2019 as part of Qatar's public art exhibition. It is an enlarged bronze version of the Thumb statue by artist César Baldaccini.
