Beautiful hut in a quiet location, very friendly staff, ideal for a short stopover.

Halfway up Radstadt's local mountain, the Rossbrand, at 1,172 m, lies the Bürgerbergalm. The alpine pasture can be reached on foot, by mountain bike or by car.

The hut is located a little below the summit, facing south. The Dachstein in the north is only visible from the summit.

Modern mountain hut with a great restaurant and very busy with families with children and cyclists. So not necessarily a typical mountaineer's hut!

The Kaiserpromenade was built at the end of the 19th century to mark the anniversary of Emperor Franz Josef's reign. Take a stroll and be transported back in time and enjoy the view of Radstadt.

Perfect for a short hike from Radstadt, also easy to do with children. In winter, it's lovely to combine with a sled ride.
