Here, the wall and ditch are still clearly visible, making the Roman border fortifications vividly tangible.

The Limesblick viewpoint in Zweiflingen am Pfahldöbel is a prominent vantage point along the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Upper Germanic-Raetian Limes. Here, a modern observation tower offers visitors a sweeping 360° panoramic view of the Hohenlohe landscape 🌄. Right next to it, information panels explain the Roman border fortifications, the course of the Limes, and the encounters between Romans and Germanic tribes.

The panels are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Upper Germanic-Raetian Limes and bring the perfectly straight border line with its watchtowers and palisades to life for visitors.

Great sculpture

Beautiful view towards the south. It is rather questionable whether you can still see the Limes in the landscape despite the telescope. And certainly not in foggy weather. The information boards on the platform are very interesting in any case.
