Brayford Pool is England's oldest inland harbour, that was originally used as a port by the Romans – who connected it to the River Trent by constructing the Foss Dyke. Nice city, beautiful cathedral, the castle wall wall is great, if you’re into prisons then the castle itself may be worth a visit. Lots of places to eat. A guy on a bike rode into me as I was walking up the street, he was drunk I wasn’t but apparently it was my fault. I wouldn’t let that put you off though

Lovely cathedral but you do have to pay for entry which grates me a little, happy to donate but it can get a little pricey for a family

The Castle walls are worth the price but I thought the castle itself was overpriced
