Currently, there's even a portable toilet a few meters down Pützdorfer Straße from the small Indemann, which (at least when I was there) was clean and didn't smell, had toilet paper, and running water in the sink. A great addition to a break at the small Indemann!

Wide, spatially separated field/cycle path along the road. The asphalt is top-notch, and it's a great ride, even if it's a bit dull along the road.

The ascent and descent from Schevenhütte to Gürzenich is (as of June 2025) a superb, perfectly smooth asphalt road. Light traffic allows you to cruise downhill at a brisk pace. And the trees on either side of the road ensure you don't get fried in the sun.
